Our history...

The Protocol Consultancy was formed in 1998 to produce and deliver high quality C.P.D. material at the request of just one client, Sapa Building Systems.  This was as a result of having written and designed one of the first seminars to be assessed and passed by the Royal Institute of British Architects C.P.D. provider's network scheme.

Over the next 23 years, the Protocol Consultancy, led by fenestration specialist, Keith Watts, has written and produced a large number of subsequent seminars and physically delivered over 1000 sessions on Curtain Walling, Building Regulations, Windows and Blockwork to well over 1000 Practices.

Keith is delighted that, on many occasions, practices have been so impressed by the content, that  they have requested Keith delivers the same seminar to regional offices across the country.  As a result, Keith now works with some of the leading construction and material supply companies across the UK.

Formerly Brand Manager for both Monarch and Glostal, Keith had developed significant business sales and marketing experience.  In 2002 the Protocol Consultancy was requested to carry out its first customer research assignment.  This was on behalf on an Aviation business.  Today, the Protocol Consultancy works on behalf of diverse organisations for both industry research and customer feedback.

In addition to construction, Keith has also developed significant experience in the General Aviation sector.  As a former Chairman of a leading aero club, flight training and maintenance organisation he addressed a number of  issues, transforming the business and delivering unrivalled profits.

Since 1998, Keith has been responsible for assisting a number of clients, both big and small.  He has helped transform a number of ailing businesses.

In 2008 Keith acquired a failing IT Company.  Putting "his money where his mouth is" this he successfully and profitably sold just over 2 years later.

The Protocol Consultancy is now a successful business consultancy specialising in education and architectural CPD.
